What would you want in a mod networking space?
Hey all!
I noticed there aren’t many places where mods can casually network, swap tips, or talk about tools, Automod tricks, recruiting, burnout, etc. At least not what I in particular was looking for.
So I started working on a small hub for this purpose, and I’m trying to make sure it’s actually useful and not just another inactive mod-meta sub.
For those of you who’ve been moderating for a while:
What specific things would make a cross-subreddit mod community genuinely valuable to you?
Examples:
- threads about Automod templates
- mod-to-mod networking
- resource libraries
- moderation tools
- problem-solving threads
- spotlights of smaller communities
- monthly meetups or Q&As
- advice threads for new mods
- collaboration between subreddits
If you’re part of any existing mod groups or networks, what do they do well?
And what do they not do well that a new space could fill?
*Any *suggestions or feedback would help a ton! I want to build something that actually helps people. Thanks!
