vacation request

Hi

Say for example I wanted to go on vacation in February 2026 for 3-4 days, how exactly could I request for that. My attendance is mandatory for some of the classes I’ll have that week, so I think leaving unannounced would negatively affect me. Can I say I’m sick? Please let me know.

Thanks!
