Help me choose best insurance for new puppy
I just adopted a 7 month old female rough collie. She does have some non-serious health concerns right now (mange and a cyst on her back toe) that was being treated by the vet through the rescue. Other than that, she seems fairly healthy. How did you decide which company to go with? My vets office recommends Trupanion but they are quoting me $164/month for $250 deductible and 90%. Lemonade offers similar coverage for less than $100/month. The thing I like about Trupanion is that they pay the office directly which could come in handy if there were ever a time we had a really high emergency bill.
Anyone have experience with either of those? Good or bad? I'm open to other recommendations as well. She is spayed and microchipped, as well.
