Period

OK, I am 59 years old and have been a menopause for about five years. I went on estrogen and progesterone about three weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed I was lightly spotting, which I’d read can be normal. My doctor upped my progesterone to stop it, But today I have a full on period. If you have experienced this before, any guidance? I certainly don’t wanna be having a period again. Maybe the increased progesterone will stop it, which is the intention I think that!
