In a December 3, 2025, hands-on evaluation published by Germany’s premier automotive outlet Auto Bild, Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised system earned resounding praise for its superior urban prowess during a rigorous Berlin street trial, where the reviewer, observing from the passenger seat with a safety driver, marveled at its unflinching mastery over congested traffic, construction detours, and pedestrian crossings—anticipating hazards with prescient accuracy, yielding courteously on narrow lanes, and executing highway maneuvers up to 140 km/h with surgical precision, all powered by HW4’s camera-centric vision that delivers 360-degree vigilance far beyond human capabilities.

The publication extolled FSD’s tireless, undistracted operation as a transformative relief for drivers, conceding that even seasoned motorists cannot match its panoramic awareness or fatigue-free multitasking, with only a solitary misjudgment on a one-way street underscoring its developmental edge; in stark contrast to Europe’s regulatory lag—where Tesla eyes a February 2026 Netherlands debut—Auto Bild urged swift adoption, hailing FSD as an inexhaustible “super-assistant” poised to redefine supervised autonomy and propel the continent ahead of global peers like Mercedes, whose radar-augmented rivals trail until 2027.
