Depression

Really struggled over the last year.

Was in a 6 month depression with 3 weeks in the middle of this (think this may have been induced by starting miratazpine)

This year the depression has come with very minor psychotic symptoms such as hearing the odd thing and seeing slight distortions for example seeing something appear as a bug

During summer I was fine and back to my normal self with the very odd distortion

I’ve had anxiety and depressions over the last 8 years every couple of years that lasted a few months each time. They always seemed to finally improve with the same SSRI. Sometimes these have a trigger, sometimes it’s completely out of nowhere.

I always have severe anxiety for a few days before the depression.

Now I’ve dived back into a deep depression with the minor psychotic symptoms and it’s lasted for nearly two months

I’ve been on a new anti depressant for 7 weeks and I have had no relief whatsoever

My psychiatrist has said possibly bp2 but still thinks major depression therefore has only treated with antidepressants.

I’m just wondering if anyone has any similar experiences?
