Is it really common for scores to suddenly nosedive, after scoring well?

A week ago I scored an 85% on my Acheviable practice exam and was feeling like okay if I score well on the Finra practice exam I will schedule my exam a week out. But now Ive been scording terrible on practice questions and confidence has gone down hill. Im unsure what to do. Exam isn't scheduled yet.
