Apixaban suspension

Hi! My mother is 80 yo and takes apixaban because of atrial fibrilation. She had a hip/iliac fracture 8 days ago with no need for surgery. After discharge 4 days ago, she was recommended to suspend apixaban. When can she restart it? Thank you
