Have you used any of the social meetup apps and found success?

There are so many damn bot accounts filling it up to make the apps look like they are populated. And some apps just seem dead either because they didn't find any momentum as a product, or died out due to the shitty experiences it provided.

I'm giving a try at Amigo but I'm not sure if it's dead or not due to how unresponsive the "community organizers" are.

Timeleft and similar apps, I've heard some ups and downs about them with people ghosting too often.

IMO this subreddit isn't the best channel to find friends either because it skews into very similar personalities (I swear, no offense but you'll find 70% of the people to be software engineers 😂)

So where else have you folks found success?
