Newbie questions

Very new to this, so I have a few questions. I got some mushrooms from the grocery store, made spore prints, and plates from the stems. The plates weren't clean, not a big shocker. I also have some syringes (unused) left over from my vaping days.
First question: Does anyone have good pictures that show the difference between mycelium and mold?
And: Will soap and water be enough to clean the syringes of spores since I have three varieties and two syringes?
