I've had quite a rough year, things at school have destroyed me, but I finally have the motivation to give my "dream" game another shot. Even if I wasn't programming, I spent the past year slowly doing a ton of research, understanding pixel art, studying the level design of DKC and Megaman, and I'm ready try to make my squirrel again.

I'm excited, because when I mention my "dream game" to someone, they probably assume it's some massive mmorpg or something... But in reality, I truly love simple and non complex games, especially platformers, and I feel like that's something that someone like me can realistically develop.

My goal is just to make a project that friends and family will have fun with, and genuinley be impressed by. I feel as if any other goal would just demotivate me... Although maybe this time I'll start a devlog series on youtube not to gain a ton of attention (because let's be fr this is still a very simple project, I'm not capable of anything big), but to keep me motivated to conistently work on the game. Although gaining a small following could be nice, I know there is a community out there for simple 2D games.

Idk why I wrote so much here-

I decided to give another shot at making a game! Remaking my platformer concept from last year.
