Torn Between Sorento Hybrid and EV9

Hey y'all! I need some help deciding what to get. I'm looking at the Sorento X-Line SX Prestige and the EV9 Light Long Range.

I'm not planning to lease, as I might be moving before the 3 year period is up. Given that, I know there's some good offers right now for both vehicles for financing.

Here are some of my thoughts and assumptions:

- I have a family of 3, with 2 cats, and 1 dog. Both vehicles' interiors seem very similar.

- I love the idea of a pure electric vehicle, and not paying for gas.

- The value of used electric, including EV9, seem to plummet more so than traditional or hybrid vehicles.

- If I were to go with the EV9 I'd probably take the 10.5k rebate as that would drive down the principal and help mitigate the above concern a bit.

- The Sorento trim seems like it might actually be a bit more "luxurious" than the EV9 trim in the same price range.

These are the main points that come to mind. What are y'all's thoughts? Anything else I should consider or missed in comparing these two?
