CREEPY CHILDRENS ILLUSTRATED BOOK
i've been looking for this book for a couple years, i don't exactly know the time period but its ATLEAST before the 2010s, most likely before the 2000s.
im pretty sure it was a hardback and the art style reminds me of little inferno, the bodies were simplistic with giant cartoonish eyes. it had little to no color, just black and white. (maybe a little red?), everything looked shaded with pen/pencil, sort of gothic. the illustrations covered an entire page with just a single sentence ontop of it.
it was a book about homophones (maybe homonyms too) and it didn't have much of a continous storyline, characters would reappear now and again but i think that was the extent of it... unless it did, i really can't remember and if so it was following a young pair of twins, a girl and a boy
the cover of it MIGHT have what looks to be a monster? its supposed to be a whale but its standing on its back fins/legs, with its mouth wide agape. with the twins standing infront of it. (or just one of them) I know for a fact that's the last page but i don't recall if its also the cover or not.
I don't think me describing a single page would be of any use to anyone but its all i have. another page read 'She cut her hare.' with a pair of bloodied scissors on the ground with severed hare ears laying next to them
