GPS google map with step

I use google map as a car GPS and for some trip I put some step just to make sure it gives me the itinerary I want.
It work well, but when I drive, I must validate the step, sometime 4 or 5 step 😔

Is there a solution to follow the itinerary without having to validate the step ?
