Need Advice Regarding Studying German Prep in Heidelberg University as an International Student

Hello! I want to study the Molecular Biotech Bsc in Heidelberg Uni, however it requires C2 German. I only have A1-A2 currently. By the time the admissions begin I'm hoping to achieve an A2+ certificate, minimum. Will I be able to get a conditional offer with an A2 German certificate+ IB diploma? If so, is it even possible to level up to the sufficient German proficiency in a year and then get accepted once again? I do have other options in English but I'm really drawn to this particular course and uni. Thank you in advance!
