Which Greek islans should I visit for my travel with family (young kids) in April 2026

I’ve booked flights to Greece for the first 2 weeks in April. We want to visit at least 2 islands.

Just walking around, coffee shops and sight seeing. We dont want empty and desolate islands with zero tourist and closed shops/restaurants, but stil lwant walkable old town feel and villages.

I understand the weather wont be perfect. Ive looked at Ionian islands and smaller Cyclades islands, but fear it will be too quiet. Is Santorini and Paros a bit more open and with some tourists? Or where should we go??
