Which game begins with the ending of the previous one as a prologue?

I wanna know which starts with the end of the previous game, like Castlevania Symphony of the Night did starting against Dracula in Rondo of Blood and Sonic XG starting in Doomsday Zone against The Final Weapon from Sonic & Knuckles
