PolyTech proves the need of "Conceal Carry" after 36 years of "Anti-Gun" extremism
In honor of the 36th anniversary of the shooting, I am making the argument AGAINST the constant "anti-gun" rhetoric that Polytech continues to spew to this day.
I admit this might go into a bit of a rant as well, since i am tried of Canada's "pro-victim" mentality while they pretend there is no such thing.
And while I am being a bit opinionated, if we do not have discussions, including criticism of these "anti-gun" organizations, in the long run, the only solution would be violence from ether side of the political spectrum if we do not correct course and find real solutions other than making excuses to "banning all guns", then we do not have a union of people with different backgrounds and ideas, we have a nation who is under the boot heel of liberal-victimhood ideology and every "ethnic group" is just going to continue to acquire guns anyways.
My Problem with this "Anti-Gun" organization
my understanding of this shooting, 36 years ago from today, was basically innocent citizens (mostly women) were gunned down by a criminal and they relied on the government for protection(laws, police, etc) and clearly did not help them nor "showed up on time", leading to the creation of this "anti-gun" organization and ultimately more "anti-gun" laws that clear have little sway in future attacks as our country's crime, smuggling, and simply being attached to the USA, makes this impossible.
All the way up to this day, they continue to lobby and request more gun laws while bawking that "the government continues to do nothing"(from today's news), even though they literally did by harassing law-abiding citizens, their own countrymen who actually cares about Canada and would possibly come to their defense if we had "concealed carry".
but then I come to realize that, if we threw out the politics, the leaders (or victims in this case) of Polytech are constantly ether experiencing or abusing the "5 stages of grief".
please note, while its called the "stages of grief" its not linear and each stage can mix with one another
-
Denial/Bargaining - they refuse to accept the lost of the shooting and think they can do something about it 36 year later, they bargain to reduce all true-Canadian's rights for temporary safety.
-
Anger - they attack anyone that disagrees or even simply tries to find a better solution (ex. certified concealed carry).
-
Depression/Acceptance - I put these two together because if they were to "accept" my viewpoint or even solution, they would be depressed, even if it turned out to be for the better of our country.
they are constantly stuck in 1 then 2 then 1 then 2 because they will never accept the fact that their "solution" is most likely wrong....
take the "Danforth Shooting" victims, another prime example of a criminal who ignored the laws, took their illness/gang affiliation, and killed innocent unarmed citizens when no police officers can possibly be near enough to protect them... and now those victims are part of that "anti-gun" movement, spewing the same victimhood mentality of making sure everyone has the same opportunity to be as much as a victim as they are (through more laws).
That needs to stop if we want to protect real Canadians, the solution cannot continue to be
"lets just be a victim and let the government continue to (fail to) protect us".
I tried picturing myself, since as to my previous non-gun related posts, I "deal with the liberal school systems in Canada" what would happen if I was stuck inside a "certain event"...
sure i might wimp out or do the "defensive protocols" told to me, but Canadians entrust me to help teachers educate(which is also questionable these days) their kids and keep them safe while all of you (especially conservatives) are working hard out there, keeping our country running.... but "sheltering in place" only works so well until the criminal has the basic understanding of "ballistic breaching" and then our shotguns gets banned.....
but I feel like I have a morale obligation to save your kid(s) life, yet I am not entrusted with the tools to do so even if I am license, vetted, "morale fit", etc.....
but I am pretty confident, if even ONE of those Polytech victims has a concealed firearm, they would not exist today.
so as hinted many time above, I believe in "Conceal Carry".
Its not the perfect solution like anything in this world, but it will do infinitely more than just sitting there and being a victim, like what Polytech mentally promotes.
and while "how to implement "Conceal Carry"" is a whole other topic alone, its still a better solution.
and ironically, even without the legal-means, I can hypothetically acquire a gun in "less that 2 hours (as to real experts from c-21 meetings)"....
just imagine the day someone does that and proves that simply getting an illegal gun saved innocent lives and proved once again, our government is useless...
"when one violates your charter of rights, they void their own".
