I've had an LG Ultragear 1080p 144Hz monitor for over 3 years now and had no issues with it, until this week when it randomly started showing faint horizontal lines across the whole screen.
They were barely visible so I didn't think much of it, but then yesterday it suddenly started showing huge vertical glitchy lines with very bad burn-in. These appeared while I was just using the screen as normal.
I tried using a different input cable and source, with no difference. Even turning the screen off and on again wouldn't get rid of it.
I figure it is a problem with the monitor itself, as it happens on my Switch 2 and PC, and even the monitor's own settings menu.

After about an hour I came back and the glitches had gone (save for the faint horizontal lines)
But then today I went to use the monitor as normal and it starts flashing periodically with intense screen glitches, and it is running at a very slow framerate (one glitchy flash is basically one frame)

Has anyone seen anything like this before? Is there anything I can do, or is it just cooked and I need to get a new monitor?
