Missed my damn orientation…

It was scheduled for 11 today. Showed up at 11:20 and the lady said she’d email me to reschedule. Looked like they had already gotten people ready to walk the floor and all.

She was pretty nice and I hope that’s a good sign. I had been up all night with my niece for whom I am the caregiver. She’s been sick as hell lately, probably something from school.

Anyway, I think I’m screwed. I know how important first impressions are and this was not a good one at all. What’s frustrating me the most is I had called on Thursday AND Friday to try and reschedule and each time it would just ring for 1-2 minutes and then tell me they were getting a high volume of calls. I should have probably showed up then instead.

Do y’all think I’ll actually be hired eventually? It sucks. I had filled out all my info and everything for pre-orientation. Just couldn’t get there in time.
