My daughter ran over her case with one AirPod in it and the other in her ear.

My daughter ran over her AirPod case with one in it and one in her ear. This is where she messed up. She freaked out and threw the case and one pod away !!!!! She didn’t realize we have the Best Buy extended warranty( for this exact reason) She has the one unharmed AirPod. Will Best Buy cover this replacement ? I seem to remember them telling me that as long as I have one earbud or a piece that it can be replaced. I live very far away from my closest Best Buy so I thought I would ask here moms when they can’t find the hair tie first.
