why are you an athiest i dont understand

First off all i dont want anyone thinking that i mean disrespect in any way am just asking this because i am curious why did you embrace atheism i mean lets just say that we came from nothing and there is no god and we when we die there is nothing waiting for us like you believe but imagine if you were wrong and there is an after life and you went hell because you didnt believe in god (just saying if) i mean whati f you just believed in god it is kind of lose-lose sitution becuase if you are right you dont get anything but if you are wrong it could go very bad I repeat again i dont mean any disrespect i fully respect your beliefs i just wanted to take different views and opnions
