I have an intense, burning hatred for CORN.

🥔Eating/Food/Arfid

I LOVE vegetable soup! I love fried rice with veggies! They’re some of my favorite meals, they are very comforting and safe for me. But what’s an ingredient that I always find in these foods? CORN.

I find myself genuinely upset when I see a higher-than-normal amount of corn in these foods. More than I have the patience to pick around. Who wants that much corn? If you like corn that much just go eat corn. The texture is so disgusting. Its hard, pops when you bite it. Then its sweet. WHY! It throws off everything else in the food! I feel so sick when I accidentally get some in my mouth. My favorite foods get ruined with nasty yellow weird bits.

Only recently have I been able to branch out and eat more veggies. I’m proud of myself for overcoming the issue I’ve faced for so long. But corn and I will NEVER get along.

When I say, “oh, sorry, I don’t like corn,” everyone acts like I just said “I hate puppies.” I apologize to the corn lovers, but I just don’t get it.
