Flowers for hair pieces

How can I make my own silk flowers or find a place to order them? I usually buy them at retro/vintage/pin up boutique places when I visit the west coast and shop online. But I want to start making my own to match attire that I have. I google and I get a lot of wedding or just go to Michael’s answers. The flowers I’ve bought online usually have thick stems I have to cut or the like.

I have a lot of time now so I’d love to just be directed how to make them. Figured worth asking here if people have saved their own findings. Or do it themselves
