Strange post breakup behavior and final straw- blocked

We (me 39f and him 45m) dated 7/8 months and he ended things with me for the second time about 1.5 months ago. We have talked like friends and argued since the breakup and he almost came over to see me twice but said it’s for the best he doesn’t. One of the times he wanted to visit my daughter was here so he couldn’t, we didn’t introduce our kids. Well, a few days ago he started putting sticker !!reactions to old sexts and pictures. I debated even responding, but I did and asked oh are you having a change of heart about seeing me? And he put a !! Sticker reactions to that and we did this for 2 days, it was annoying but seemed playful. I would send him a funny picture or say something and he would sticker it. Finally on the second day I said this has gone on for too long, are we actually going to talk…? And he said I don’t even want to talk or see you, you’ve been having a whole ass conversation to yourself and bothering me for 2 days. He was doing it just to mess with my feelings??? It was so stupid I finally lost it, did a final boss tell off and blocked him for good. Why do you think he was bantering with me back-and-forth with this stupid talking and sticker reaction thing? Like I can’t wrap my brain around how idiotic and immature that is to spend hours back abd forth putting reactions on my texts and tried to make me feel stupid???
