Looking for ideas for a companion character.

I am running a campaign and my players wanted side quests. Right now, my wife is running an Elsa themed sorcerer. I gave her a side mission of finding her lost companion, Olaf. What I am looking for suggestions, is companion idea and stat block for Olaf. Since Elsa is a silver Dragonborn, I was thinking Olaf could be a white Kobold but am open to other ideas as well.
