SteamOS laggy and no Audio after reinstalling
Greetings,
I recently upgraded my Steam Deck’s internal SSD to a 2TB one (Crucial P310).
No problems during Installation and SteamOS booted, but afterwards I ran into two major problems:
SteamOS is extremly laggy:
UI buttons are not reacting, power Button sometimes does nothing, clicking the install button on any games does nothing.
No Audio:
No Audio output devices, no speakers, no headphones, nothing listed. Already reinstalled SteamOS reinstall did not fix it.
Already tried reinstalling SteamOS, I fully wiped my SSD, Reset BIOS, checked Audio Drivers (no devices appear at all)
Before the SSD upgrade everything worked perfectly.
Used a SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go for reinstall.
Used the steamdeck-repair-20250521.10-3.7.7 file and flashed the drive with balenaEtcher.
And on windows the Audio worked.
Could this be related to the SSD upgrade? Or is this a known SteamOS driver issue?
Any help is appreciated.
