is it controlling to ask her to remove someone who likes her from her ig?

Been talking to this girl for a couple of weeks now, and things are starting to get serious, although not official yet. She posted something on her Instagram, and I commented, and she told me one of her guy friends got angry. Supposedly, this guy is her friend, but he has liked her for a while. Weird thing is, she told me before she was gonna drop him, and nothing has happened so far. Anyway, we were talking, and I made it clear that I would like her to remove him and she said yeah im doing it right now but nothing happened. Cut to the next morning and she has unfollowed 30ish people yet that guy is still there. How do i navigate this without seeming controlling or what not? I feel like even though we only been talking for a short time this is kinda disrespectful and that there need to be firm boundaries
