Last night I got drunk and left my bookbag on the train with work laptop; what are the chances of me ever seeing it again?

Fell asleep on the train, woke up at my stop and stepped off but then immediately realized I l left my bag on the seat next to me. I put in a lost and found request online immediately, is there anything else I can do to follow up on it?
