Bestbuy tried to scam me...
Black Friday was coming up, and I decided I really wanted to purchase a laptop since the one I have right now is quite slow and glitchy here and then. So I began my never ending research since this was going to be a huge investment.... at least for me as a college student.
After 3 days of constant researching, I decided to go with the Microsoft Surface 7th edition 15in. My brother insisted on buying the laptop as a early birthday gift. Laptop arrives after 2-3 days and I am very satisfied with the quality so far. It works fast, looks like a macbook, screen is dope, and keyboard is alright. HOWEVER, I am noticing a screen difference and I pull out my good ole school ruler....it's not 15 inches. My brother rechecked the order and it was 15inches and paid 1500 dollars for it. Instead I got 13 inch laptop for the price of a 15 inch laptop...that is paying 800 dollars MORE.
Even the box it came in from MICROSOFT, the label says 15 inches...it is not.
When my brother contacted someone from bestbuy, they said that the 15in was unavailable, okay so then cancel my order and let me know and refund my money. Why create a issue like this? I was compensated for my waste of my time and they are shipping another one after the return.
I am posting this for customer awareness purposes and for folks to double check to see people are not ripping you off your hard-earned money.
