sensory issues even with recorded stuff

I am struggling very much with a subject at uni and I got into this free online course that explains it perfectly. There's is no other resource like this, but I'm struggling with it because the content comes in video format (I think they're recorded classes from the covid era) and there's this constant, very loud, fan-like sound which is driving me absolutely crazy. I can't turn down the volume because then I wouldn't hear the explanation, but white noise like that is my worse sensory trigger.
