Trying to request more hours (Ross)

Hi I’m new here and I’ve just been stressing about my job at ross because of my hours I don’t know if ross is known for having horrible hours but how should I ask them for more hours? I’ve been debating on just calling the store and telling them that these hours of working 1 or 2 days a week isn’t paying my bills. I’m looking for another job but I was just looking for advice to try to get more work time at ross.
