Why does everyone want episode images so bad?… Ohhh

I’ve been using Overcast since Apple’s podcast player looked like a reel-to-reel player. Episode images weren’t a a thing at that time. So every time Marco said that episode images were the number one feature I never really understood it. I figured it was sort of like chapters. How common could they possibly be?

Then 2025.11.1 one came out and… wow. Most all of my shows had them all them all time? I had no idea?

Criminal always said there was a unique illustration for each episode. I always thought it was odd that I would have to go to their website if I wanted to see it.

Makes sense now why everyone wanted it so bad.

Neat feature. Thanks Marco!
