I have some portable antennas coming in with adjustable coils.

Can I use an antenna tuner with the coil to get better swr?

Must I remove the coil?

Can the coil just be set to its top setting, so as to have no effect and just allow the tuner to do its job?

I have the Antuner AN-100M Pro tuner and I am getting a Xiegu XPA125B 100 watt amplifier with it’s own tuner

I will use these with my newly acquired Icom IC-705.
