New steam valve and now frothing isn’t the same

My steam valve was leaking so I got the Shades of Coffee steam valve replacement and the one hole steam wand til as well.

Since replacing the steam valve, wow, tons of pressure, basically 0 dripping from the wand, excellent.

But using the one hole wand tip, my milk isn’t frothing like it used to. Pressure is amazing, heat is great, I tear paper like a mf and I’m getting basically no stretching of the milk at all. It’s like water viscosity.

Am I doing something wrong here? Do I need to froth differently with a single tip bs the 2 holes that comes stock..?

I went back to the 2 hole and pressure output is lower than the single and I don’t get that rolling frothing that I do from the single, but it stretches the milk way better for some reason.

Any help? Do I just suck at frothing
