Powerfarming in college

Hi, former decent (consistently top 5 team in state) high school debater that plateau'ed really hard in college with not a single break in 2 years and being beaten by people 4 years my junior. Im debating twice a week, what more should i do? My problems are time control and lack of knowledge base.
