10 days in China itinerary

hi! i am traveling with my boyfriend at the beggining of january to china for 10 days.

our itinerary so far is:

hong kong (shenzhen) 2 nights —->flight to beijing beijing 3 nights: sounds a bit unorganic but we wanted to be new years there. —-> train to pingyao pingyao 1 night —-> train to chengdu chengdu 4 nights (one day based in chengdu we are going to qingchen mount)
