[Help Me] Small but bright EDC flashlight to live in my backpack at ~$50 (And can I use a vape as a battery charger?)

Recommendation

Price Range: I have no gear so I'll need a battery and charger, and would like to spend close to ~$50. Took a look at the Convoy S2+ and the price looked good to me, especially if I also need to buy a charger for 18650s, but if there's something better or more easily rechargeable I would prefer it, even if it costs a bit more.

Purpose: Basically this will live in my backpack, waiting for the rare occasion where the power goes out or a flashlight is otherwise needed, so definitely infrequent use. Because of this the most important aspects for me are size and weight, as I don't want to lug around a big and heavy flashlight when I will only rarely use it. I definitely want it to be bright to the point where other plebs using their phone flashlight get jealous (otherwise, what's the point?)

Battery Type & Quantity: 18650 flashlights are fine (and I'll need a charger recommendation), or if there is a comparably bright flashlight that has a built-in battery and charges with something like USB-C, that would be even better.

Size: Small but not teeny-tiny. Something like the Convoy S2+ seems like the right size.

Type: Handheld cylindrical? idk

Anything Else?: I mentioned the Convoy S2+ a lot here just because it's the top post on the subreddit right now, but if there is something better for a bit more money, or if there is an alternative that is just as bright or brighter with similar size, I'd pay a bit extra for that. Lock-out would also be useful which I know the convoy doesn't have.

Use my dry herb vape as a battery charger??: Here's a doozy: I already own an Xmax V3 Pro dry herb vape which has an 18650 battery inside, and charges it through USB-C. Would I be able to use this to charge 18650 batteries and therefore save on buying a charger? Might be a little less convenient, but I don't anticipate charging the flashlight very often as it will see very little daily use.

#Thanks in advance for your help!
