(Ngl there is a chance you won't understand shit because while i'm making this it's 3 am)

Tell does this scene that i'm about to describe seem familiar ?

You are playing JJS (either ranked or public) and then you start a fight with another random guy, you notice by their movements and over all the way they try to make a combo that they are new but even still you ofcourse want to win but you can't land even one combo on him and you just feel confused almost as if you were the one that just started playing and in the end they win and kick your ass badly

You may blame it on beginner luck or maybe you were lagging or you weren't full HP wich yes those can be reasons why you lost but it is most of the time they are never the actual reason and later when you fight someone around your same level of skill you can hit combo so easly and destroy them, but why ? why could you easly kill the player that is around the same level as you but can't on someone that is weaker ?

It's simple it's because that beginner player managed to break your Rhythm

To make it simpler to understand view each character as a different instrument (Ex. let's say Yuji is a piano)

But what is Rhythm, well there isn't a exact explanation on what that is but see it as your playstyle, you keep repeating it over and over making sure it's improving over time and getting better and better and you always use it

Basically everyone has a Rhythm some might be really similar others complete opposites, the way most people fight is by showing off their rhythm with and in the end see who has the best

But there is also another way to win a fight and that is by breaking someones rhythm, it's way more difficult to do but also a lot more rewarding then just go on and charge in all ready to fight

Let's make a example, 2 Pianist (Yuji players) are playing against each other, but then one of them took his hand off his piano and placed it on the piano of the other and just started playing random notes, that will throw off his Rhythm he won't be able to go back and keep it going, he will try to fix his rhythm but in the end he won't be able to and the second pianist will win

Breaking someones way of playing the game is hard and most people can't do it but if you can then you will have mastered one of the best skills in JJS

(i think half of you all didn't get shit about this but oh well i'm going to sleep now)
