Update from yesterday- Gojira rules, thanks guys!
Thank you all for your suggestions, really appreciate it!
Anyway, From Mars to Sirius... Wow. I expected heavy but damn this is HEAVY. These guy's heaviness here put everything I've heard before them to shame. From the Sky and The Heaviest Matter in the Universe are seriously awesome. I'm not usually one to enjoy/ get much out of instrumental tracks but Unicorn was a great one. Flying Whales was a glorious 8 minutes of my life and flowed perfectly to In the Wilderness, which isn't quite as good as the previous, but... Everything here is amazing. Everything on this record is so awesome it's hard to put it to words. INSTANT S-tier album, 10/10 from yours truly. A Walgreens ad played while I was listening and kinda killed the mood, but Gojira's awesomeness won it back right away. These guys will 100% become a favorite band of mine.
Just wrapped up L'enfant Sauvage, and while it wasn't as good as From Mars To Sirius, which was a flawless album, it was a solid A, bordering S-Tier record in its own right (9/10). The Gift of Guilt and Explosia were awesome (All of the opening songs were great), and there was another solid instrumental track. Nothing left me dissatisfied and Gojira are certainly 2 for 2 at the moment. Headed to Fortitude next!
Never thought I'd like French people but here I am... Joking of course....
But now I must ask: WHERE HAVE THESE GUYS BEEN ALL MY LIFE??? Killswitch Engage was my favorite metal band before this, but Gojira is just... So good. Thanks again!
