Was there a change to rangefinders and zero on zoom?

Legitimate question on the off chance I missed an update or something but was the interaction with range finder on a sniper rifle combined with zero on zoom bound to fire changed?

Hopped into a game this morning and - granted it’s been a few days - I noticed every shot I took near a horizon line (even on a stone or something to test) the tracer round shot almost straight up. On a good day I have no troubles pipping snipers along a ridge line but today every shot at a target there went like 45 degrees up.
