Is my husband being controlling?
I (22NB) have been accused of cheating multiple times now by my husband (26M). We've only been married for a month and he did this a few times before we were married as well. He has been cheated on before and I understand he has trauma from that but I hate being accused of things I did not and would never do. He does not get violent when he accuses me, but he gets angry and interrogates me. He'll apologize after and promise he won't do it again but then he will a few weeks/months later.
These are some of the instances that come to mind. He found a plan b pill with my medical stuff when we were moving in before. The pill was inside the box but he thought it was empty/didn't look hard enough to see the pill and accused me of lying because I had told him id never taken a plan b before. The truth was that there was a pill in the box and I had gotten it at a pride fest I went to where they were handing out free pills, I just took one just in case we would need it. He apologized when I explained this to him but not before questioning me.
Then a few months later I was on a phone call with my male coworker while my husband was right next to me. My coworker was asking me some work related questions. Towards the end of the call I made a lip smacking noise (which is something I do often, I make mouth noises during conversations sometimes). My husband was convinced that I was making kissing noises at him and that therefore I was cheating on him with this male coworker in front of his face.
Finally, just last night, my husband showed up at my job to pick me up from work (not uncommon, we both walk home and he gets off just a little before I do). I was in the break room and my male coworker (who is in his 40s, mind you) was offering me some Thanksgiving turkey to take home for me and my husband to share. So I was in the break room for a few minutes after my shift ended talking to him. Then we both exited the break room at the same time and stepped out into the store, where my husband was waiting in one of the aisles for me. I then went to my locker to grab my things. My husband was convinced that the reason I had taken a few minutes longer was because I was cheating on him with my 40 year old coworker. He was very angry and yelled at me once we got home. I was also angry and yelling. We didn't speak for the rest of tonight and he left for work this morning without saying goodbye to me.
There are other instances outside of this that I just can't remember clearly at the moment. I really don't know what to do, it feels like every time I bring this up with him he promises he won't do it again and admits he overreacted but then he does the same thing a few weeks later. Any advice would be appreciated. ..
TL;DR my husband (26M) has accused me (22NB) of cheating multiple times, after I provide evidence that I havent been cheating he admits he overreacted and promises he wont do it again but then he does it again a few weeks/months later.
