Progesterone options

I can’t swallow those oval progesterone pills to save my life, but know that I need progesterone to balance the estrogen patch I’m on. Tried inserting the pill, but I think the peanut oil or whatever irritated my vagina. Does anyone use an alternate form of progesterone that they have good success with? I’m supposed to be taking 100mg/day. Thanks in advance!
