How does ticketing work?

Hi! I cannot find this info anywhere...

For context, I live in the US and do not have a CPF. I only want to go to see a specific artist and don't care to go if I cannot secure that 1 date.

1st question: do you have to have a CPF to purchase the undated cards that go on sale on the 9 th? 2: if you purchase the undated card on the 9 th is there a chance that during date selection the date you want may sell out? 3: am I understanding correctly that the cards that go on sale on 9 dec are not transferable, so I can't purchase for my friends? 4: is there going to be a secondary ticket purchasing phase where you can choose the date at time of purchase? & does this phase sell out ridiculously fast? When will this be? 5: literally any other tips are welcome! I have never purchased festival tickets before 😵‍💫
