Travel time + Help about duration of each tray

Hello guys, I know its best to ask my ortho and I will ask her but can someone help me understand this:

I am travelling for 4.5 months and won’t be in my home country during the time my IPR is due. The only way it’s fitting in my schedule is if I increase the duration of the trays overlapping w my travel from 10 to 18 days. Initially my doctor said we can do 10-14 days for some trays but now asking if I can do 18 days, seems like she will be mad at me.

What do u guys do when travelling? Pls help me. I am freaking out 😭 sorry for being a whiney Redditor but my future work/life is dependent on this.
