Is it theoretically possible to make a day on Earth last 48 hours?
Im not talking about flying a plane across the globe to make it “seem” like it lasts 48 hours (because of time zones), Im more so talking about would it be possible (assuming humanity is mega technologically advanced) to somehow MOVE Earth to a spot where the sun’s rotation on Earth lasts 48 hours? The main problem I think would be to frame it in a way where the sun doesn’t interfere with the night cycle. Basically what Im saying is, is there a way to make a day last 48 hours (12 hours of daytime and 12 hours of nighttime)?
