How do women choose to have kids? It’s like if Disney shot 10 lucky visitors every day

Culture & Society

Me, a female, can never wrap my head around how selfless women are, and don’t really understand that maternal instinct. Can someone explain?

Here’s a wild stat I thought of today while waiting in line: Step 1: US maternal mortality rate 22 deaths every 100,000 people.

Step 2: cali Disneyland annual visitors 17.33 million / 365 = 47,450 per day

Step 3: if Disney operated with childbirth mortality rate: 47,000 ÷ 100,000 × 22 ≈ 10.34 getting shot on the spot per day in Cali Disneyland.

✨Giving birth in the U.S. has the same death rate as if Disneyland randomly shot ~10 visitors every single day.🧚‍♀️

How many die hard Disney fans would keep going to Disney if this is the case? Prob very little. And how many women continue to think of having kids even learning the death rate? Every single mother.

How the hell do you all do this? Am I missing a genetic code or something?
