Carry trade impact?

Have been a passive holder for a while and don’t have a ton but thinking of increasing my position. Does anyone have any insight on the impact of the Yen and what is going on in Japan, specifically with the carry trade and how it will impact XRP? I’ve heard it may be used by Japan as a means of new asset to use for exchanging? Idk would love someone with a bigger brain to help me out, sounds like it could be beneficial to the price.
