Think I got « soft » loved bomb

so, my boyfriend and I have been dating since march and rapidly we got really into each other, he was really sweet, flirty he made a lot of compliments, like he flirted a lot with me and i gave it back to him

but for some reasons we were in a distance relationship right after we started dating cause he had to move for his studies during one full month and even then the relationship was really nice for the firsts weeks but everything started to fade down as we dug in the second month of the relationship

everything that i’ve described before started to cool down as the weeks went by and even when he came back this never got better. of course they were times thinks got a little better as i talked to him about it but it never came back as it was during the firsts weeks of the relationship.

and now 8 month later i’m still in this position of looking back at our firsts moments first texts and it was way better than it is right now.

so i was wondering, do you think he « soft » love bombed me ? cause i never slowed the things down but he did after weeks
