What if the Null were actually the very distant cousins of the Kwamis?
That would explain why Tikki and Plagg simply never mention them in the series, perhaps because of their personality, which has nothing to do with that of the Kwamis we know today.

We already know that Nulls are the natural enemies of certain Kwamis, that doesn't change, it's even consistent... but there is something that intrigues me:
how can an omnipresent being be neutral towards Kwamis, when Kwamis are spiritual and peaceful beings by nature?

We can imagine that the Kwamis were once Null, in their primordial form or in a state of quantum embryo, before obtaining their current form according to the birth of concepts.

This would explain why some Nulls are born in darkness, while others are born in pure energy, with different shapes that could even represent certain astrological signs of the zodiac.

For example, we can imagine that Tikki and Plagg were the very first Null to discover the concepts of creation and destruction.
Tikki could be the Null who represented positive energy, and Plagg the one who embodied negative energy.

So if we think about it carefully, Tikki and Plagg would be Nulls who evolved and discovered their first emotions by becoming the first original Kwamis, long before the birth of the quantum omniverse that we know today.

And if we push even further:
they would even have been the first to merge to give birth to a luminous Null, the Kwami of Existence, which would then have created the quantum omniverse and the multiverse.
Then, this entity would have created other versions of Tikki and Plagg, so that they would merge again to give birth to Gimmi, the Kwami of Reality, responsible for creating and organizing the quantum universe.

Theory on the origin of the original kwamis.
